Very good location to visit the Syracuse-Ortigia and the Baroque cities Modica- Ragusa-Sciccly and Noto. We where in Ragusa Ibla, very cozy old Baroque city with good restaurants ( even for Michelin Lovers there where 2 restaurants with stars ) For doing the tour of the Baroque cities you need a car and to driving and parking in the narrow streets you have to kbe not sressy and concentrated. Also good for your work out , there are many stairs up and down in the city.

Ragusa itself is a beautiful town and very walkable, I'd recommend three or four nights to do it justice. As a town it feels like tourism is an 'add-on' and therefore feels very genuine and Sicilian as are the restaurants all of which we thought were excellent. The only downside is the public transport, to go anywhere outside of Regusa we found to be quite a challenge as basically you have to rely on taxis, however maybe the transport issue is what has kept Regusa such a beautiful place so its not all bad!!!

Ragusa is an enchanting hill town in rural Sicily.

Ragusa is an enchanting hill town in rural Sicily. It is surrounded by steep gorges, with the town spreading up three steep linked hills. It's a fantastic place to spend a few hours exploring the narrow steep streets. We found some wonderful shops - intended for tourists, but good value. There were also fantastic eateries and the local people we interacted with all seemed charming and helpful. We ate dinner in La Bettola in Ragusa Ibla, which was delicious and great value.

Ragusa consist of two small towns located on two hills connected by walking path and stairs. The view is just amazing, especially at night. There is good selection of restaurants. The walks through the narrow streets are very enjoyable.

Ragusa has two parts to it, the old and new. The old city is very beautiful and interesting to explore. The main street is fun with restaurants, shops and a park at the end with wonderful views of the valley and mountains beyond. We did not go up the hill to the new city however so we cannot characterize it.

I loved Ragusa, the roads are difficult with a larger vehicle but this shouldn’t put you off just research your routes and think about where accessible parking can be found. The new town is interesting but not touristy whilst the old town is a lovely labyrinth of medieval street and lanes with beautiful Baroque architecture. There are restaurants worth searching for and we particularly enjoyed the ‘5 senses’!

I recently travelled around Sicily with 4 friends and we enjoyed our overnight stay in this B&B. The location is very handy for the centre of Ragusa Superiore, with plenty of restaurants & bars nearby - but can also walk a little further to historic Ragusa Ibla. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, and the large breakfast included some delicious home-made items. Communications were easy and they gave us some very good recommendations for restaurants. If I was visiting Ragusa again I would not hesitate to book this B&B.

Loccation could not be better, overlooking Ibla, and with Old Ragusa in the background, the views from the rooftop terrace (where breakfast is served) are amazing. Modern, well redesigned property in an old house, it has lovely rooms with a good bed and a very good shower, and all the comfort one needs, but the soul of the place is the dedicated and charming owner: Vincenzo, who cares, recommends places for dinner and visits, and serves the lovely breakfast with view over the roof….

I loved this location and Damiano (the property owner/manager) could not have been nicer. SO responsive via What's App! The property is just a short walk from the center of Ragusa Ibla and all its great restaurants/shops/sights, and parking is easy! Breakfast was varied and wonderful (amazing cannoli!) and our room was supremely comfortable and modern. I highly, highly recommend this wonderful hotel!

Best location for Ragusa Ibla. Easy parking on the ring road and a quick walk through a passage built into the cliff and you are in the hotel. The back of the hotel has a door to the old part of Ragusa Ibla where, only a couple of minutes walk away, the restaurants, cathedral etc. are located. Amazing bathroom and a good view over the valley from the room. Lovely breakfast and friendly staff.

Everything about our stay at Evoca was perfect! If you’re staying in Ragusa Ibla, don’t think about it just book a stay here with the delightful host Peppe. He has thought of everything & can’t do enough to make your stay the best it can be. The rooms are gorgeous & the views are spectacular. The home made touches for breakfast just make it so special. Thank you Peppe for everything.

Loved Dimora Bonafede! What a super modern and well-designed hotel in the middle of Ragusa Ibla! The rooms are all stunning, and each has the same amazing views of Ragusa. The bed was firm and comfortable. The free breakfast offered by the hotel is also delicious, and the recommendations for nearby restaurants were great. We absolutely loved our stay.

We stayed in a lovely apartment in this fully restored family palazzo in the heart of Ragusa Ibla. We enjoyed learning the history of the place from Costanza, granddaughter of the original owner, and very capable and gracious hostess. The B&B is spacious and clean, with a perfect mix of the old and the new. A highlight was breakfast on the terrace.

An apartment in a traditional house in the middle of the old town. Very good location - you're close to both Ragusa Ibla (5-10 minute walk to the Duomo) and the stairs to Ragusa Superiore. Free parking 5 minutes away. The house itself was nice and comfortable for a family of four, with all the facilities.

Quite possibly our favorite accommodation in our 5 week trip to Italy. If you can get room #3, book it. It has a beautiful balcony with unprecedented views of Ragusa Ibla. Nanni is the hardest working B&B owner and very helpful. The breakfast he serves is 🔥🔥🔥. Great location between the two sides.

Comfortable, clean room and bathroom. Check-in and checkout were smooth. We were glad that the hotel was in the Ragusa Superiore part of town, because we travelled there by train and the walk to/from the station was much shorter and easier than it would have been if we'd been staying in Ragusa Ibla.

The hotel is nice, very modern looking, friendly staff and good breakfast. The location is tricky - it is in Ragusa Nuova which is about 2km from Ragusa Ibla - the historic center. We had to drive and then walk another 10 minutes to get to the main road of Ibla.
