The hotel exceeded our expectations. They were kind to upgrade us to a room with a balcony - water front view. Best spot in town! The room was very clean with a comfortable bed and a nice shower. Breakfast was good and communicaton with hotel was easy. Parking is available for free on a street below the hotel and main piazza. Wonderful recently renovated family hotel, perfect location for a visit to Sciacca. Host Raffaele greeted us with complimentary upgrade to a beautiful room with rooftop terrace overlooking the old town. He makes an excellent cappuccino and delicious breakfast, and also a perfect afternoon spritz. Also a really good neighborhood pizza place right across the street. A short walk to convenient free parking.

New hotel on harbor front, with large bedroom & bathroom, fluffy towels & excellent bed linens. We were just overnighting, so chose the standard room, only drawback no windows. The more expensive rooms have a balcony & harbor view. An elevator rides to 5th floor entrance in town, after that there are 4 flights of steps to reach center. We did not have breakfast, just went to Charlie's Bar next door for sandwich & cappuccino. We had seafood dinner in harbor a restaurant..unfortunately not great.

Sciacca is such a hidden gem of a place. So much to do and see in Sciacca, from the Porto area, where the fishermen bring in their catch of the day and the old apartments and houses in that old, beautiful area of town, to the Centro area of Sciacca, with the beautiful old churches, streets and walled city. The food is of course based around the fresh seafood, that is caught daily. I love everything about Sciacca.

If you like maritime culture and a small unpretentious town but with excellent seafood restaurants, Sciacca might be for you. It has a big fishing port, very colourful. Up the hill is the main town, classy and attractive and without a lot of tourist trinket shops and other tourist eyesores. It would probably be mellow in summer with everyone out in the cafes all evening. The beaches are outside the town about 15 min. We did an early spring tour of Sicily's southwest coast looking for possible August holiday places for the future. I liked Sciacca.

Sciacca is a perfect place to explore south western Sicily.
Sciacca is a perfect place to explore south western Sicily. The town is easily explored in a half day and has nice stores and restaurants.
Definitely prettier and less up and down than Agrigento. It is a little over an hour from the Palermo Airport by car and you can explore the ancient temple of Segesta on the way and only have an hour drive to Agrigento and the many picturesque and historic attractions on the way there.
Also Corleone and Piana degli Albanesi are on the way to Palermo for those who are interested in some of the Mafia history.

It is a nice Sicilian town full of History and monuments.
It is a nice Sicilian town full of History and monuments. The city itself is a little gem as you can still see buildings that were built a long time ago still there and in use. Food and restaurants are good too as well as shops and other amenities. The only "black spot" is the fact that if you want to go to the beach you must have a car. In the evening you can enjoy a promenade in the piazza or, if scheduled, watch gigs of live music on the streets.

Sciacca is a charming place for a short stay.
Sciacca is a charming place for a short stay. The residents are kind and welcoming. We enjoyed walking along the streets and the alleyways and appreciated that it is not packed with too many tourists. It is a also good base to visit The Valley of the Temples in Argrigento.
The house was one of the best holiday homes that we have had so far. All in all it met our expectations and even exceeded them. Also the contact with the owner, Alessandro, was swift and friendly. The roof top terrace with a magnificent view over the Marina and Sciacca habour was our favourite spot for breakfast and a late, light dinner - and the stairs from the kitchen to the roof top were excellent training :-) The house is situated in a cosy street with more good restaurants in short walking distance.
One of the best hotels we ever had the pleasure to stay at:
-rooms are spacious and super clean
-owners and staff are amazing people, always friendly and super helpful
-beach is stunningly beautiful, clean and quiet - personal sunbeds are extremely nice to flexibly come and go as you like
-outside area is also amazingly beautiful
-breakfast is great as well, super tasty regional specialties that vary over the week, for us personally it was also enough to eat lunch as well
-private parking is comfortable
Stylish makeover of a gracious family home. The rooms are bright and inviting. Simple luxury and perfectly styled.
Our hosts Ignazio and Simone are beautiful people who provide their accomodation with love, respect and pride. We had a very special experience meeting them and enjoying their hospitality.
Sciacca is a great little city. We were sorry we didn’t stay longer. Great tip from our Hosts - was to take an APE tour with Francesco, which they arranged for us (along with our dinner reservations)
The house is nice. Our room had a nice balcony to a lemon tree garden. There was room service.
Breakfast was diverse and good, including capuccino (or other hot beverage), fruit juice, cornetos with different fillings and sandwiches.it's not identical every day.
Location is great, but if you do not like steps (don't go to Sciacca or Agrigento), you need to take a greater turn I think.
Fulvio is very concerned about your wellbeing and can give you tips on car rental.
A beautifully presented small hotel. The rooms are very well appointed and immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom has a large shower. You can park for free on the street outside. The hotel has a private car park if you prefer. The staff were remarkable for their welcome and service, probably up there with our best experience ever. Breakfast is a buffet with plentiful choice. The Hotel is a flat walk to the main square and shops.
This is the loveliest place we have stayed in Italy- and by far the best value for money.
Our apartment was gorgeous, spacious , private , well located and clean.
We caused difficulties by arriving late after the check in period, but Olga was very hospitable and helpful, in arranging a self check in for us.
Breakfast was extraordinary- varied, fresh , copious and delicious.
I would choose to stay here over anywhere else I have stayed in Italy.
The best host we’ve encountered in our trip in Sicily. Exceptionally friendly and gave us lots of helpful information for the surrounding area.
The room feels really luxurious, nice decor and an amazing view from the balcony. +Good AC
Great location in the middle of the city, there’s free and paid parking directly in front of the building. You just have to be a bit lucky to find a spot.
Breakfast is just across the street in a café.
The host brewed my cappuccino & added steamed milk. Served it with a smile on her face & on the foamed milk. Assortment of pastries, cold cuts, juice, water, cereal, yogurt, rolls… The security of having the host on site (24/7). Convenient location, off a Main Street. The room was cozy.
The host couldn’t get me a taxi to the bus terminal.
She drove me herself. The host is lovely, caring & compassionate about her guests & Sciacca.
OMG Giuseppe and his manager Francis were the best of hosts. What a special place this is. A beautifully renovated property with a distinct nod to the past and yet modern and minimalist at the same time.
I loved everything about this hotel. Francis bakes cakes for the breakfast which is fabulous we used the spa, sauna and steam room for a few euros extra and this was a lovely clean set up. The location is central to everything.
The location is perfect if you want peace and quiet in a beautiful setting. The beach is only 15 minutes drive so for us the ideal spot.
The house is great with lots of space. You can quickly drive to the port to buy fresh seafood and prepare it in the house. The surrounding area gives tranquility.
Desiree from Wonderful Italy gives top notch service so a big thank you. She really did everything to make us feel welcome.
It's a roomy, bright, and brand new apartment in a cute town. Keyless entry very convenient. They had left on the A/C for me, so that when I arrived it was nice and cool--now that's good service! It was a little tricky to find the house, as the laneway curves, but don't worry, it's there. This was a last-minute stop, and I'm really glad I came because Sciacca is very nice. I could easily have stayed a little longer.
One of the best places I have stayed in many years of travelling! Charming apartment, well decorated. The kitchen is small but has everything you need to cook for yourself. And a washing machine! Fantastic views over the harbour, and just 400 metres from Piazza Scandaliato. Sciacca is a great place to explore. Feels like the real Sicily, not just for tourists.
Excellent hotel with excellent service, I highly recommend them to everyone who wants to enjoy their stay in Sciacca. Mattresses are very comfortable as well! The rooms are always clean and the staff is very welcoming and inviting. This is the second time I'm staying there and both experiences were excellent so it's time I write a review and let everyone know!
Imposible choosing what was best and what I liked most — Lorenzo, the owner, even helped us unload and load up our suitcases from the car. The room was impeccable, everything was new and shiny clean, and the hotel had everything you can need. The rooms are also incredibly big and the bathroom is huge with big brand new fluffy towels.
Every day at the hotel a lavish breakfast is served in the buffet style featuring delicious pastries, fresh fruit, a range of cool drinks and charcuterie. Although the room overlooked a busy street in the bustling centre of Sciacca it was near silent if desired. The room itself was stylish and very comfortable. 10/10 would return.
Nice hotel, parking is for free, nearby hotel.
Hotel staff is very welcoming and kind, tell us everything what we want to know, including information about Sciacca restaurants, offers, information about city.
Francesca, the receptionist was amazing. Very serviceable and went above and beyond turning our stay into a pleasure experience. We highly recommend this hotel for his comfort, cleanliness and comfort.
