This property is in great location it is only 20 minutes walking distance to Amalfi town. The owner was kind enough to update our room to a sea view with no extra charge. Although facing the main road, but the view is phenomenal. Breakfast was an extra $10 /person. It was a basic continental breakfast, so we didn’t take it. Th c property was very well maintained and clean. There is a SITA bus stop only 15 meter away from the hotel entrance. However, I suggest to walk to town and take the bus from there because if you have luggage or if the bus is full (which usually they are at this time for the year) It won’t stop for you. Amalfi is beautiful but their bus system is very unreliable and disorganized.
Hotel Amalfi has a great location in the center of Amalfi, just a few yards from Saint Andrew's Cathedral. It features a peaceful garden with citrus fruit trees.

we stayed at this hotel suites for 3 night ,the rooms was very clean and tidy , we stayed on a city room which was up some 3 flights of steps to get to from the front door to the building and one flight of steps from the pavement below , no good for anyone who has a walking disability, we was given the wrong key so when returned from dinner could not get in to the room also , after ring reception as no one was on site , they let us in the room remoatly , [1st night ] then we got moved to room 1 of the other part of the hotel looking over the sea this room was on the side of the hotel and there was a bar underneath the hotel but on the other side of the road , and was open to 2am plus in the morning very noisy could not sleep and then the dustmen empty the bins around 4-30am more noise, the main door into the hotel is on a main road and you take your life in your hands, as there is no pavement but all in all ok ,and great located the rooms was big and shower very nice and big, our host was also very helpful

Amalfi was beautiful but transfer system was awful and disappointing. I really recommend to go there by ferry, because the bus transfer is crazy and with long delay. The app for purchase of bus ticket was not working well and was ambiguous. Specially during the night, nobody was there for helping.

We travelled to Amalfi as a group of two friends and whilst Amalfi is lovely, it is a very sleepy town so there isn't much going on in the evenings. Perfect for couples/families but I'd recommend Positano for groups of friends!

Visiting Amalfi in the off-season was a good choice.
Visiting Amalfi in the off-season was a good choice. It felt like a normal town where you could see people work, go to school, shop for groceries and chat with neighbours. The tourist sites were open, parking was easy and we had the beautiful spots all to ourselves - the gardens of the Villla Rufulo in Ravello, the Sentiero degli Dei between Agerola and Nocelle, the black sand beaches, and plenty of restaurants are open.
We had an incredible stay at La Casa di Sam. The house is beautifully decorated, the rooms and outdoor area have a stunning view to the Amalfi Coast. It is located in a peaceful area which is well connected to Amalfi centre via bus. The hosts are so lovely and have been amazing at making us feel at home. They are great at communication and promptly answered any questions we had. Silvana was so kind to leave us a parting gift on our last day. I absolutely recommend La Casa di Sam to anyone who is planning to visit the Amalfi Coast.
wonderful!! i have visited many hotels, but I assure you that this suite is the most beautiful of the Amalfi coast, cared for in every detail, cozy and home of harmony and love. it has stunning views with hot tub on the terrace seemed to be in paradise. it has a jewelry showcase where you will find corals and pearls and a beautiful champagne showcase!! Congratulations, and thank you for letting us participate. “A house so beautiful that I’ve never seen it before. i highly recommend it!!
The location is great. Great view of both Amalfi and Atrani. Less than a 2 minute walk to each. The pool is amazing. The cloister is beautiful. The staff were very professional. The air conditioner was a bit of a life saver. I didn’t realize how soft I’m getting in my early 50’s.
Agnes was wonderful. She clearly loves her job. She told me that those that live on the Amalfi Coast wonder if heaven will be any different at all, literally heaven on earth.
This little flat is perfect if you want to stay a couple of days in Amalfi and explore the region! Mariapaola and her mother are very welcoming and hospitable. They even gave us fresh fruit and a little souvenir to keep. The accommodation is a little bit up the hill and therefore probably really quiet in the summer, but not too far away from the hustle and bustle of the Amalfi Coast (15 min to walk to the port). I would definitely stay here again.
We had a wonderful stay! Very nice, super clean, nice view and kind staff. Located on top the hill and great to see Amalfi coast from the hill. Good Mediterranean atmosphere hotel. Nice village with a signature church. Great access via bus to the Amarfi down town area. Very nice and tasty breakfast with home made cakes served as a part of buffet menu. So heartwarming. One of the best hotels we stayed while traveling in Italy!
The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Everythıng is very new and clean. The bus stop ıs only 2 mınutes walking distance from the hotel so if you are coming with a traın from Sorrento or Salerno, you can just take the bus and basically arrive at the hotel. The hotel personnel, Ms. Reneta was very attentive and helpful. She made our stay at Amalfi coast easier. I will defintely recommend the hotel to my friends.
The room was perfect and situated right in the square. we had the view of the Amalfi duomo and was 5 mins from the pier where you can take the ferry or a bus to Salerno, Sorrento, Positano, etc.
Andrea was super helpful and the staff was AMAZING. Carmen arranged a driver for us from the hotel to Naples Airport. We are definitely coming back and making Amalfi our go-to for summer vacays from now on.
Room 11 had a great view to the harbor and coast to the east side of Amalfi. The terrazza was nice for breakfast and an evening aperitif. The room was comfortable and had an old world charm. I loved the tiles in the bathroom. It was quiet except just before breakfast at 8:00. The 77 steps up to the hotel were not bad. The directions to get to the hotel were perfect.
This place is away from the city crowd. You can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Amalfi coast from the hotel garden. The hosts are the kindest people I have ever seen. They were helping us and taking great care of us during our whole stay!
Delicious breakfast and coffee were in order every morning. The cleaning service was also great!
I strongly recommend :)
Excellent location to base your Amalfi coast trip. Taxi and ferries both within a couple minute walk, yet the hotel area is rather quiet and peaceful at night. The breakfast and the hotel restaurant for dinner were both great. Staff were welcoming and very friendly, they helped arrange airport transfer which made planning easy. Would stay again!
The hotel is a little bit far from the center of Amalfi but his emplacement is excellent. We were upgraded and received a room full sea view and with balcony well equipped. The breakfast was served as in hotels of 4-5 stars. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel not only because it’s physical conditions but because the staff
A stunning most stunning setting overlooking the Amalfi coast. The home was so well equipped and comfortable. Francesca and Roberto were wonderful hosts. They gave us directions for transportation … cooked the best raviolis ever! We attended Roberto’s cooking class on a balcony overlooking the water.. it was amazing! G
Unique hotel with fascinating history. Many of the features of the original convent are maintained. The cloister is particularly impressive. The swimming pool area is exceptional, with easy access to the sea. The balcony for the suite is very big and offers great views of Amalfi and the coastline.
best hotel ever! absolute faultless hotel ,every corner a work of art. Room was superb with views over the amalfi coast. Bed was extra comfy. Staff were fantastic. Breakfast on the terrace was amazing with every possible breakfast dish avail. best omelette i have ever had ! BRAVO BORGO!!!!
It was a truly unbelievable place. What a great place to end our trip on the Amalfi Coast. The bath tub was spectacular. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. When we couldn’t find a porter to help with the bags our host helped us carry the bags to the bus stop.
The hotel is between Positano and Amalfi. 15 minute walk to Amalfi! Great hotel and owner was very gracious and helped with us making our tour booking. Nice plunge pool and sun terrace. B&B style property. Loved our stay.
The view was breathtaking!!!the best hotel to stay in Amalfi coast! the staff was amazing!Lucia, Kristian, Luigi, Gennaro made our stay so special!!!we thank everyone they were all amazing!
